THE ATTIC is a safe and welcoming drop-in space for high school students in Torrance. Designed for ages 14 to 18, it offers a place to take a break from their daily routines, connect with friends, and participate in activities shared by students interests and ideas.
To participate, students must live in Torrance or attend a Torrance high school. Programs at THE ATTIC are shaped by student input, with high school students helping plan and lead activities, alongside adult staff. Students can take part in special events, classes, volunteer opportunities, fitness, sports, and more.

THE ATTIC Teen Center offers a wide range of recreational and technology-based amenities designed to create a fun, safe, and engaging space for teens to relax, connect, and participate in activities. Facility features include:
ATTIC Café - Offers affordable snacks, light meals, and beverages
Free WiFi
Regulation-size pool table
Three 60” flat-screen TVs in the main room
Computers with internet access
Game room with three 40” gaming TVs (PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii)
Basketball court
Air hockey, ping pong, and foosball tables

Visit THE ATTIC and apply to join the ATTIC Advisory Committee (AAC). The AAC gives students a voice in shaping programs, events, and activities at THE ATTIC. Committee members work alongside staff to share ideas, provide feedback, and help create a welcoming space that reflects the interests and needs of Torrance teens.
Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the THE ATTIC Multi-Purpose Room.
