Request a Vacation Home Check

Planning a trip? The Torrance Police Department offers Vacation Security Checks as a free service to Torrance residents. While you're away, officers and trained Volunteers from the Department will periodically check your home for visible signs of suspicious activity such as open doors, broken windows, or other security concerns.

This added layer of protection can offer peace of mind while you're out of town, and it’s just one of the many ways we partner with our community to enhance public safety.

Please Note:

  • This program is offered as a courtesy and is not a guarantee of daily checks.
  • The Torrance Police Department and the City of Torrance assume no liability for loss or damage to property during the specified dates.
