THE ATTIC Teen Center

THE ATTIC is a safe and welcoming place for high school students in the City of Torrance. It gives students a break from their daily routines and focuses on their ideas, voices, and needs.

THE ATTIC is a drop-in program for youth ages 14 to 18. Students must live in Torrance or attend a Torrance high school to participate.

Programs at THE ATTIC are shaped by student input. High school students help plan and lead activities, with support from adult staff. Students can take part in special events, classes, activities, volunteer opportunities, fitness, and sports.

THE ATTIC is a great place to relax, spend time, and connect with friends. You are welcome to stop by and visit.

  • ATTIC Café - Offers affordable snacks, light meals, and beverages

  • Free WiFi

  • Regulation-size pool table

  • Three 60” flat-screen TVs in the main room

  • Computers with internet access

  • Game room with three 40” gaming TVs (PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii)

  • Basketball court

  • Air hockey, ping pong, and foosball tables

 

Hours of Operation

School Year (Aug 22, 2025 – Jun 11, 2026):

  • Monday–Friday, 3:30 – 7 PM

  • CLOSED on holidays, Thanksgiving, Winter & Spring Break

Summer Break (Jun 14 – Aug 22, 2026):

  • Monday–Friday, 1 – 5 PM

  • CLOSED on holidays

 

Membership

  • Must be a Torrance resident (including private high school) or attend a Torrance public
  • Parents/guardians must complete and sign waiver & membership packet before entry
  • $10 membership fee (expires 8/5/25)
