Tile Project
The Torrance Public Art Tile Project is a community-driven initiative that invites residents to participate in the creation of public art in Torrance. Through this program, ceramic art tiles designed by community members are incorporated into permanent public art installations across the city.
These public art tile murals celebrate local creativity, shared stories, and neighborhood pride, transforming civic spaces into lasting works of art. Installed at parks, libraries, public buildings, and community gathering spaces, the Tile Project reflects Torrance’s commitment to accessible public art and community engagement through the arts.
By combining artist-led design with community participation, the Tile Project in Torrance creates meaningful, collaborative artworks that honor the people who live, work, and gather in the city.
