Finding Procurement Opportunities & Positioning to Win

Next date: Tuesday, May 12, 2026 | 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Overview

If you’re waiting for contracts to find you, you’ve already lost. Winning in procurement requires a proactive hunt and a professional "handshake" that proves you can deliver.

This session moves from theory to action. We will show you exactly where the money is hidden—including upcoming LA-specific and Olympic-related opportunities—and how to ensure your business stands out in a sea of competition. Learn how to stop chasing every lead and start winning the right ones.

Key Topics We'll Cover:

  • The Opportunity Map: Where to find prime contracts and sub-contracts (with a spotlight on LA-based and Olympic-related portals).
  • The "Go/No-Go" Filter: How to strategically evaluate an opportunity so you don’t waste time on bids you can’t win.
  • The Winning Capability Statement: Crafting the "resume for your business" that procurement officers actually want to read.
  • Strategic Networking: How to build high-value relationships with Prime contractors and procurement officers before the RFP is even released.
  • The Power of Partnerships: Positioning yourself for subcontracting and joint ventures to land larger deals.

Your Competitive Edge:

You will leave with a targeted strategy to source high-value opportunities and the professional tools needed to position your business as the obvious choice for buyers.
