Nominations for this year are now closed. Please check back next January when the next nomination period opens. Each year, the City of Torrance Commission on Aging invites the community to nominate someone for the Annual Older American Award. Nominations are accepted from the second week of January through the third week of March.
This award recognizes outstanding senior volunteers who make a meaningful difference in our community. Torrance is fortunate to have many dedicated older adults who generously give their time and talents to help others. For more than 40 years, we have proudly honored 100 remarkable individuals for their service and lasting contributions.
