Rates and Container Sizes

Trash collection rates are based on the size of your trash container. The Torrance City Council approved annual rate increases beginning July 1, 2023, for single-family homes and certain multi-family properties receiving City trash collection service.

If you need more capacity, you can request a larger 96-gallon trash container. Recycling and green waste containers are available at no additional cost and come in 64-gallon and 96-gallon sizes.
