Los Arboles Park, commonly known as Rocketship Park, is a 6.3-acre park in South Torrance with a playground featuring a rocketship structure, scenic city views, and picnic areas.
On November 14, 2023, Councilmember Aurelio Mattucci received support from the City Council to have staff study the cost and feasibility of installing a webcam in Torrance. The goal was to promote the City using video.
After reviewing different options, staff recommended a location at the March 26, 2024 City Council meeting. They found that Los Arboles Park, also known as Rocketship Park, would be the best place for the webcam.
