City Council Meeting

Next date: Tuesday, August 11, 2026 | 06:30 PM to 11:59 PM

The Torrance City Council meetings begin with a closed session at 5 p.m., followed by the regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. During the meeting, the City Council may discuss and take action on any item listed on the agenda. Public comments may be provided during the designated public comment periods in accordance with the meeting procedures established by Council Rules of Order.

Ways to Participate in a City Council Meeting

The city encourages public participation and offers several ways to provide public comment before and during City Council Meetings.

Before the meeting

• Online: Submit comments through the OneMeeting Public Portal.
• In Person: Deliver a hard copy to the City Clerk's Office located at 3031 Torrance Blvd., Torrance, CA 90503, during regular business hours.

Comments received by 5:30 p.m. on the Monday before a Tuesday City Council meeting will be published for public review before the meeting. Comments received after 5:30 p.m. but before the meeting adjourns will be added to the record.

 

During the Meeting

• Attend in person: Speak during the designated public comment period in the LeRoy J. Jackson Council Chamber, 3031 Torrance Blvd., Torrance, CA 90503

• Participate remotely: In accordance with California Senate Bill 707, the City offers remote public participation as an additional way to provide public comment. Call into the meeting at +1 (669) 444-9171 and enter Meeting ID: 899 1450 5182 when prompted. During a public comment period, press *9 to raise your hand. When the last four digits of your phone number are announced, press *6 to unmute before speaking.
