On Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at approximately 3:52 AM, Officers from the Torrance Police Department were proactively patrolling the area of Cravens Avenue and Gramercy Avenue when they observed a commercial burglary in progress. The suspects entered an awaiting stolen vehicle and a pursuit ensued. The pursuit concluded as a result of a single-vehicle traffic collision in the area of Anza Avenue and West Carson Street. Power lines were damaged as a result of the traffic collision.
Four (4) suspects fled on foot from the termination point of the pursuit. After a lengthy search of the surrounding area with assistance from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Redondo Beach Police Department, Hawthorne Police Department, Manhattan Beach Police Department, and Gardena Police Department, all four (4) suspects were safely taken into custody.
Southern California Edison is actively working to restore power to the area as a result of damage to power lines.
