Summer Internships

The goal of the Summer Internship Program is to provide undergraduate college students with the opportunity to gain “hands on” practical work experience, develop skills and competencies, explore future career paths, and build a professional network with mentors and peers.

Students receive the opportunity to learn about the “behind the scenes” of how things get done at the City of Torrance and the exceptional public service it provides to the community. The Internship Program also has an exciting calendar of events to enrich student's professional foundation and exposure to the activities and operations of municipal government.
