Police Officer Incentive

Bonus Amounts

Maximum Bonus: $40,000 total
Base Amount: $20,000 signing bonus
Military Veteran Bonus: Additional $20,000 bonus

Payment Structure

  • 50% of total bonus upon hire
  • 25% of total bonus upon completion of probation
  • 25% of total bonus upon completion of full year following probation

Lateral Police Officer Incentive

Bonus Amounts

Maximum Bonus: $100,000 total
Base Amount: $50,000 signing bonus
Military Veteran Bonus: Additional $20,000 bonus

Escalator Clause

  • Investigative Experience: Additional $5,000 per full year of experience, up to a
    maximum of 3 years of credit ($15,000)
  • Specialized Detail: Additional $5,000 per previous special assignment experience, up to
    a maximum of 3 assignments ($15,000) to include, but not limited to: SWAT, CNT, K9,
    MOTOR, DETECTIVE, SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER, DRONE PILOT, COMMUNITY
    LEAD OFFICER, BACKGROUND INVESTIGATOR, FIELD TRAINING OFFICER,
    ACADEMY INSTRUCTOR, POST-CERTIFIED TRAINER

  • 50% of total bonus upon hire
  • 25% of total bonus upon completion of probation
  • 25% of total bonus upon completion of full year following probation

Bonus Amounts

Maximum Bonus: $10,000 total
Base Amount: $10,000 signing bonus

  • 50% of total bonus upon hire
  • 25% of total bonus upon completion of probation
  • 25% of total bonus upon completion of full year following probation

Lateral Public Safety Dispatcher Incentive

Bonus Amounts

Maximum Bonus: $40,000 total
Base Amount: $15,000 signing bonus

Escalator Clause

  •  Specialized Detail: Additional $5,000 per year, up to a maximum of 5 years ($25,000) to include Communications Training Officer (CTO) and Tactical Dispatcher

Payment Structure

  • 50% of total bonus upon hire
  •  25% of total bonus upon completion of probation
  • 25% of total bonus upon completion of full year following probation
