Torrance Municipal Airport-Zamperini Field is a general aviation airport that supports a wide range of aviation activity and has approximately 543 aircraft based on site. While primarily serving private aircraft, the airport is also home to several Fixed Base Operators (FBOs) offering services such as flight instruction, aircraft maintenance, and charter flights.
 
The airport is also the headquarters of Robinson Helicopter Company, the largest manufacturer of private helicopters in the United States.
