The Los Angeles County Sanitation District will begin construction of a new pumping station in the City of Gardena starting on Tuesday, 6/24/25 and lasting for approximately (30 months). As part of this project, traffic modifications will be in effect along Artesia Boulevard between Van Ness Avenue and Western Avenue. A worksite traffic control plan will be implemented to ensure safety and maintain traffic flow, including temporary lane striping and delineation. There will be no lane closures, whereby two lanes will remain open in both directions (eastbound and westbound) throughout the duration of the project. We encourage all drivers to exercise caution when driving through the area and to adhere to posted traffic signs and instructions. Approximate End Date: December 2027
This notice is to inform you of the traffic impacts related to the Water Replenishment District’s raw water pipe installation on Madrona Ave (at Del Amo Blvd to Spencer St) and Mariner Ave (at Del Amo Blvd to Challenger St) for Monday, March 30th, 2026, through Friday, April 3rd, 2026 and Monday, April 6th, 2026 through Friday, April 10th, 2026. Westbound Del Amo Blvd left turn lanes to Southbound Madrona Ave will be reduced from two lanes to one lane. Southbound Prairie Ave/Madrona Ave travel will be reduced from three lanes to two lanes at Del Amo Blvd to Spencer St. Southbound Prairie Ave/Madrona Ave travel will be reduced from two lanes to one lane at Del Amo Blvd to Spencer St. Northbound Madrona Ave left turn lanes to Westbound Del Amo Blvd will be reduced from two lanes to one lane fromMonday, March 30 - Friday, April 3 Southbound Mariner Ave Lane at Challenger St to Del Amo Blvd will be closed. Southbound travel permitted with flagger. Although delays are expected, the goal is to complete the work as safely and quickly as possible. Thank you for your cooperation and patience.
This traffic notification is to inform you of traffic impacts affecting the #1 Southbound Lane of Madrona Ave., between Maricopa St. and Torrance Blvd. the lane will be closed on Monday, April 6th, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This closure is necessary to perform work in the center median.

Multiple lane closures will occur on Pacific Coast Highway between Pennsylvania Ave. and Palos Verdes Blvd. though Friday, October 30 between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. to perform pavement rehabilitation, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) curb ramp upgrades, construct bus pads, sidewalks and bike lanes, upgrade gutter and drainage systems along with applying new striping for the lane lines. Construction will be performed Monday through Friday. Residents and local businesses located nearby may experience noise, vibrations and grinding associated with construction activities. The schedule is weather permitting, and all dates and times are subject to change. Detour signs will be posted. Motorists should expect delays and are strongly advised to use alternate routes.
