The IT Department plans, implements, and supports secure, reliable, and innovative technology systems that enable all City departments to operate efficiently and deliver quality public services.

The department manages infrastructure, cybersecurity, applications, data, and user support while aligning technology investments with the City’s strategic goals.

Welcome to the City’s Information Technology Department. We provide dependable, secure technology services that support daily operations and long-term initiatives across the City.

Our team partners with departments to modernize systems, strengthen digital protection, and deliver practical solutions that serve employees, residents, and the community.

The Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Division is responsible for the City’s core technology foundation and security posture.

This division designs, implements, and maintains servers, networks, cloud services, and enterprise platforms while protecting City systems and data through cybersecurity controls, monitoring, incident response, and compliance.

Its mission is to ensure resilient, secure, and highly available technology services that support uninterrupted City operations.

The Applications & Analytics Division manages the City’s enterprise applications and data platforms that support daily operations and strategic decision-making.

The division oversees application implementation and support, business process alignment, reporting, and analytics, working closely with departments to translate business needs into effective technology solutions. Its focus is on maximizing the value of City systems through integration, data accuracy, and actionable insights.

The Communications & Customer Support Division provides frontline technology support and manages the City’s communication systems.

This division delivers customer-focused support for desktops, laptops, printers, audiovisual systems, and equipment, serving as the primary point of contact for service requests. It also manages communication technologies such as telephony, mobile devices, radios, cabling, and related infrastructure to ensure reliable connectivity across the organization.

The Public Safety Division specializes in technology systems that support Police and Fire operations.

This division manages and supports mission-critical public safety applications, infrastructure, and integrations, including dispatch, records, and field technologies. Its priority is ensuring system reliability, security, and availability to support emergency response, officer and firefighter safety, and effective public safety services.

The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Division provides enterprise GIS platforms, spatial data management, and mapping solutions that support City operations and public access to information.

The division develops and maintains GIS applications, data standards, and integrations that enable spatial analysis, planning, asset management, and data-driven decision-making.

GIS plays a key role in supporting transparency, operational efficiency, and innovative uses of location-based information across the City.
