Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA) / Hazmat Administration

The Hazardous Materials Administration section of the Torrance Fire Department oversees the use, storage, and handling of hazardous materials for the City of Torrance.  We are located at the Torrance Civic Center, 3031 Torrance Blvd., in the Fire Prevention Offices. 

Hazardous materials are regulated under the California Health and Safety Code, the California Fire Code, and by local ordinance. If you have any questions pertaining to your use or storage of hazardous materials, call the Hazardous Materials Administration.

Requests for Hazardous Materials Records

All requests for records or for file reviews of hazardous materials files, underground storage tank files, or risk management plans must be initiated through the City Clerk's Office via a Public Records Request.
