The City Attorney’s Office, led by City Attorney Patrick Q. Sullivan, helps the City Council and city departments with legal issues. The office also handles misdemeanor cases and enforces the Torrance Municipal Code.

The office has three divisions: General Advice, Civil Litigation, and Criminal Prosecution.

The City Attorney’s Office does not provide legal advice or services to members of the public. If an attorney currently represents you, please contact your attorney directly.
