To make a reservation at THE ATTIC: First contact THE ATTIC staff for information and to arrange a site visit. Your application should be submitted to The ATTIC. Facility Booking will contact you for invoicing. Please submit your application at least 2 weeks prior to your reservation date. Residents may make reservations up to 9 months in advance, non-residents may reserve 1 month in advance. Proof of Residency must be provided by residents.
Size and Capacity
THE ATTIC is comprised of an 1,970-square-foot multi-purpose room and a 1,200-square-foot patio (additional cost). The other rooms at The ATTIC are not available for rental. The maximum occupancy is 99 people (adults and children). Included in the base rental cost is 99 chairs and two rectangular tables. Please see the Price Sheet for the cost of additional tables. The multi-purpose room provides a space for a variety of events, classes, as well as meeting space.

- Dining is 80 (10 tables with eight people per table).
- Dining and dancing is 50 (five tables with 10 people per table).
- Parking lot capacity is 22 stalls within the gated area with an additional two spaces and one handicap stall available outside of the gate.
Available rental times are listed below, please call The ATTIC, (310) 782-8828, to check available dates. All set-up/clean-up time must be included within the time reserved. Rental times may not be changed on-site during your event.
- Saturdays from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.
- Sundays from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.
The room offers a small, single-basin sink, there is no kitchen available. All food should be brought in prepared: Nothing can be heated or refrigerated on the premises. Alcoholic beverages of any type are not allowed at any of the City Parks or Park Facilities (TMC 49.2.6). If you rent the patio (additional $10/hour), you may bring a barbecue to use. The sink should only be used for hand washing. No food preparation is allowed.
After The ATTIC has approved your reservation, they will send the details to the Facility Booking Office at City Hall. Facility Booking will send you an invoice for all fees within 2 business days. This balance is due in 2 weeks or 5 business days before the event, whichever comes first. All fees must be paid in order to reserve. A credit card number must be left on file for any incidentals. If the customer does not possess a credit card, a $250 refundable deposit must be paid by cash or check. Please allow 5 to 7 weeks following the event to receive your mailed refund check. Make all checks payable to 'City of Torrance' or use this Credit Card Authorization form.
