How to: Messages are displayed on the digital sign as a static page, image with text, motion video, and/or text crawl.

  • Enter announcement in the box provided
  • Compose the announcement as brief as possible

 Displayed: 

  • Messages must be already submitted to the Torrance Events Calendar before consideration on the digital signage. 
  • Messages shall remain static for 4 to 6 seconds
  • Blinking or flashing copy are prohibited
  • Illumination will be reduced at dusk
  • Messages will be active from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily
  • Messages may include civic information and advertisement of city sponsored events, emergencies, Torrance based non-profit organization events in Torrance
  • Civic Center events and programs are granted priority.
