About Us 

Public Works is made up of over 200 employees who provide service to our residents, businesses, and other City departments to improve and maintain the City's streets, sidewalks, landscaping, traffic, sewers, and water system.

Interest Cards

If a position you are interested in is not on the list of current job opportunities, we are not currently accepting applications for that position. You may, however, fill out an online interest card in order to be automatically notified if the position opens.   

To fill out an online interest card, visit the job descriptions page on the menu to view the list of City positions. Once you find the job title you are interested in, click on the job title link. There will be page that opens on the right-hand side. Click the green “Subscribe” button. You can provide your personal information, and our system will automatically generate an email when the position you are interested in opens for applications. The interest card is valid for a period of one (1) year.
