NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD BEFORE THE CITY OF TORRANCE PLANNING COMMISSION AT 7:00 P.M., DECEMBER 19, 2018 IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF CITY HALL, 3031 TORRANCE BOULEVARD, TORRANCE, CALIFORNIA, ON THE FOLLOWING MATTERS:
CUP18-00031: Petition of DRAEGER, INC. (2720 MONTEREY STREET, LLC) for approval of a Conditional Use Permit to allow a new automotive accessories sales and service center at an existing industrial business park, on property located in the M-2 Zone at 2741 Plaza Del Amo, Suite 212. This project is Categorically Exempt from CEQA per Guidelines Section 15301 – Existing Facilities.
PRE18-00014: Petition of ROBERT GARSTEIN (BRIAN MIURA) for approval of a Precise Plan of Development to allow the construction of a new two-story single family residence with attached garage, in conjunction with a detached garage, on property located within a Precise Plan Overlay in the R2-PP Zone at 3432 Newton Street. This project is Categorically Exempt from CEQA per Guidelines Section 15303 – New Construction.
PRE18-00016: Petition of JIM WEEKS for approval of a Precise Plan of Development to allow modifications to the existing ridgeline of an existing one-story single family residence, on property located within the Hillside Overlay District in the R-1 Zone at 415 Via Mesa Grande. This project is Categorically Exempt from CEQA per Guidelines Section 15301 – Existing Facilities.
LUS18-00002: City of Torrance (SMALL CELL CODE AMENDMENTS)Planning Commission consideration of potential Torrance Municipal Code Amendments related to Wireless Telecommunication Facilities as provided for in Division 9, Chapter 2, Article 39 of the Torrance Municipal Code. The amendments are exempted from the California Environmental Quality Act, Article 18, Sections 15061(b)(3).
Material can be reviewed in the Community Development Department. All persons interested in the above matter are requested to be present at the hearing or to submit their comments to the Community Development Department, City Hall, 3031 Torrance Boulevard, Torrance, CA 90503.
If you challenge any of the above matters in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Community Development Department or the office of the City Clerk, prior to the public hearing and further, by the terms of Resolution No. 88-19, you may be limited to ninety (90) days in which to commence such legal action pursuant to Section 1094.6 of the Code of Civil Procedure.
