Ben McCainBen McCain is the co-host of the weekly award winning program This Week in Torrance.  He joined Torrance CitiCABLE 3 in 2000 and can be seen not only in Torrance but all throughout Southern California on Time Warner Cable's SoCal News, Reach Out and In the Arena.

Ben began his career in radio, landing his first job while still in high school.  He continued to work in radio through college before getting his first on-air anchoring position at KVII-TV in Amarillo, Texas.   From there, Ben teamed up with his brother Butch to host a popular morning show on the NBC and ABC affiliates in Oklahoma City for 12 years, having the opportunity to interview the likes of Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, Billy Graham, Shania Twain, Garth Brooks, Toby Keith and Jay Leno. 

After moving to Los Angeles, Ben appeared on many commercials, television programs and film.  He played a news anchor in the MGM comedy Bio-Dome and had recurring roles in ABC's Lois and Clark: The Adventures of Superman and Sci-Fi's Black Scorpion.  Ben and his brother, Butch, (The McCain Brothers) have recorded three CD's.

Ben was born in Muleshoe, Texas and raised on a farm near Bovina.  Ben is a graduate of South Plains College in Levelland and West Texas State University in Canyon.  He loves traveling, performing with his brother and spending time on the family farm.
