Communications and Public Affairs Division Mission Statement

The Communications and Public Affairs Division is responsible for many of the traditional communication functions that include public information officer, media relations, community outreach, legislative affairs and multi-media services.  Additionally, this division serves as the Fire Department liaison to our Public Safety Dispatch center and oversees our future firefighter development program.  Lastly, this Division provides support to the Fire Chief and Management staff on projects and assignments that are designed to keep the public and other agencies informed about information related to the Torrance Fire Department.
