The City of Torrance Management Aides are entry-level positions for current graduate college students or recent graduates in a Master’s degree program, preferably with a minimum of one year paid or unpaid experience in the public sector and an interest in pursuing a career in public administration.

The Management Aide provides support and assistance to management personnel and performs assignments ranging from routine administrative tasks to more complex and varied professional, confidential and specialized assignments. Job responsibilities may vary depending on assignment.

  • Communication & Information Technology

  • Public Works - Engineering Division

  • Transit
