Effective immediately, all flags at all County facilities shall be lowered to half-staff in honor of the one-year anniversary of the Eaton and Palisades wildfires, which left a lasting impact on the residents, families, and first responders.

This observance honors the lives lost , those displaced, and individuals affected by these devastating fires, and recognizes the bravery and dedication of the emergency personnel and support staff who responded during this tragic event.

Flags are to remain at half-staff until sunset on Friday, January 9, 2026.
