Bona-fide Torrance-based, non-profit groups may submit events to be included in the Torrance citywide calendar pending approval. The City of Torrance Citywide Calendar System Administrator (Communications Division) is responsible for determining which events are appropriate for posting and then approving a calendar entry. The administrator also has the capability to submit the event to other calendars so that your event may be posted on more than one calendar if appropriate. Events must occur within Torrance city limits to be considered for inclusion and submitted within the categories already identified within the calendar. Find out How To Submit.

Torrance Theatre Company Summer Camps 2025
Creative Drama: Enchanted Trunk
WHAT IS IT?: A fun and imaginative theater camp, where magical items spark creative storytelling.
WHAT WILL WE DO?: Each day, campers open a trunk full of surprises—like capes, potions, and maps—to create original characters, scenes, and adventures.
WHAT WILL WE LEARN?: Kids will learn acting, storytelling, improvisation, teamwork, and how to use voice and movement to bring ideas to life on stage.
WHAT ARE THE DETAILS?: Campers use new mystery items daily to inspire creative play and group scene building—no experience needed, just imagination!
WHO TEACHES?: An experienced and encouraging teaching artist guide campers through fun, hands-on drama activities.
DO WE PERFORM: Yes! Campers perform mini scenes during the week using the stories they create together.
IS THERE A FINAL SHOWCASE?: Yes! At the end of the week, there’s a short, informal performance for family and friends.
