Description: Starting June 1, 2012, 50 person limit for this program. You must register to attend. You may register on Saturdays at 12 noon for the following Saturday or you may register by contacting the Madrona Marsh Nature Center at 310-782-3989. If you plan to attend with a group each person must individually sign up. If you no show after you have signed up, you may not sign up again for 2 weeks. Join us for our restoration program every Saturday from 8:45 a.m. - 12 noon on the Preserve planting natives, weeding, propagating or maybe watering new plants.  Wear closed toe shoes, bring gloves and be ready to work. Refreshments are provided. Rain cancels this program. Late comers will be sent away. If you are 15 years or younger you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

After each presentation, Connie will lead the class through the Nature Center's Native Plant Garden to illustrate key points and further discussion. Handouts are included. Description: The South Bay Scooter Club meets the first Saturday of every month for a chance to ride around the South Bay on our scooters with fellow scooter enthusiasts. Though vintage Italian scooters are preferred, all types of scooters are always welcome. Meet at Claim Jumper restaurant in Torrance at 12:30pm. Ride leaves around 1pm-ish. Different routes and end spots are chosen every month. Come out and ride!!
