During this special summer session on Wednesday, August 29th, the Western Museum of Flight (WMoF) and Pacific Coast Hobbies will help you create and build these models of historic American aviation. You will take home the model you build. The F-14 Tomcat was a supersonic, twin-engine, two-seat, variable-sweep wing fighter aircraft developed for the U. S. Navy. The SR-71 "Blackbird" was a long-range, Mach 3 aircraft developed by black ops project of Lockheed Skunk Works. The F-117 Nighthawk was a single-seat, twin-engine stealth ground-attack aircraft operated by the U. S. Air Force. This event is presented with cooperation of Pacific Coast Hobbies whose staff will be on hand to assist with model building and answer technical questions. You can build as many models as you like.
