Torrance Public Library
Torrance Public Library presents the 2012 Summer Reading Program "Own the Night!" Visit any Torrance Library and sign up! Read books, magazines, or graphic novels. For every 20 hours that you read you can earn and collect one prize per week. The Torrance Public Library Summer Reading Program is free for teens entering the 8th grade through high school and is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Torrance Library. The Walteria Library reopens today after construction. Regular hours are Monday - Thursday 11 - 8 and Saturday 10 - 5.

Don’t spend Summer at home! Come to summer camp and enjoy fun filled days participating in indoor crafts, outdoor games, walking field trips and an excursion every week! Torrance Summer Camps will hold 10 weekly sessions from Monday, June 18, 2012 to Friday, August 24, 2012, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Fees range from $125 to $155 per week. Fun Camp, for ages 6-11, is held at Greenwood Park and La Romeria Park. Teen Camp, for ages 12-14, is held at Greenwood Park. Sports Camp, for ages 7-13, is held at Wilson Park. Extended Care is also available for Camps. Morning Care is 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Fees are $20 for residents and $25 for non-residents.
