Madrona Marsh Nature Center & Preserve, 3201 Plaza Del Amo, Torrance CA 90503
Join us for our restoration program every Saturday from 8:45 a.m. - 12 noon on the Preserve planting natives, weeding, propagating or maybe watering new plants. Wear closed toe shoes, bring gloves and be ready to work. Refreshments are provided. Rain cancels this program. Late comers will be sent away. If you are 15 years or younger you must be accompnied by a parent or guardian.

Come join the fun in this special program that will include breakfast, a special holiday puppet show from Jim Gamble Productions, cookie decorating, a snapshot with the Bunny and more. Seating is limited and pre-registration is required. All children ten years of age and younger must be accompanied by a paid adult.

Come enjoy a morning of fun! Activities will include a pancake breakfast, puppet show, egg hunt, music by DJ Ozzie, picture with Bunny and more! Please bring your camera! $20.00 per person. Seating is limited, tickets must be purchased in advance. Resident registration begins February 28, 2012. Non-Resident registration begins March 6, 2012. Join the Friends of Madrona Marsh for the annual Garden Tea Party and Native Plant Sale. Tour the Native Plant Garden that surrounds the Nature Center with a docent who will talk about and identify the plants. Then come inside the Nature Center and help yourself to refreshments and tea (native plants used to make the teas). Last walk through the native plants sale and purchase your plants today to start your very own native, water-wise garden. For more information call; (310)782-3989.
