Join us for our restoration program every Saturday from 8:45 a.m. - 12 noon on the Preserve planting natives, weeding, propagating or maybe watering new plants. Wear closed toe shoes, bring gloves and be ready to work. Refreshments are provided. Rain cancels this program. Late comers will be sent away. If you are 15 years or younger you must be accompnied by a parent or guardian.

Take a relaxing informative walk with a docent, exploring and enjoying the Preserve in the fall. All ages welcome. This walk is free and happens the 4th weekend of every month on Saturday and Sunday. For more information please call the Nature Center at (310)782-3989.

Hi everybody, Teaching House will run several FREE ENGLISH COURSES in 2012. That is to say you can practice both your written and your speaking for free! The next one it from April 16th to May 11th. There will be two levels of languages : Pre-Intermediate and Upper-Intermediate and classes will take place from Monday to Friday evenings (6:30 to 8:30PM). Moreover, if you attend to 100% of this classes during the week, you will receive $25 each week (you have to be Pre-Intermediate or Upper-Intermediate to attend to this class)!
