Join Cindy Reid every Friday for this educational, fun program called "Friday Fun." This is a hands-on program for preschoolers ages 3-6 years and their parents or guardians. The program is offered at no charge every Friday from 10 -11:30 a.m. The program incorporates story time, science, art and a tour emphasizing the chosen topic. Some weeks there will also be potting or other activities added. Topics (insects, animals or plants) emphasize respect for all living things and prepare children to be good stewards of the planet. 20 kids maximum. Pre-registration is required, please call the Nature Center to register (310)782-3989. $5 donation accepted.

Toddlertime is designed for children 18 months to 3 years old along with a parent or caregiver. The Librarian will share stories, songs, and other activities designed to build pre-literacy skills. All Torrance Public Library storytimes are free, but room space may be limited so please arrive on time. Part of the Torrance Public Library Summer Reading Program. This 1959 Broadway musical is the retelling of The Princess and The Pea, the story about a queen who was so insistent that her son marry a true princess she devised a test that would prove her physical sensitivity.
