The Fit Family Fun Day at the Torrance Del Amo Mall in the JoAnn Court will commence the independence of the participants from the chains of obesity. The battle cry for the day is “Obesity Does Not Live Here Anymore!”
The day will begin with a power walk at 9:30 a.m. led by CJ, KJLH Radio personality Nautica De La Cruz, and actress Tochina Arnold from “Everybody Hates Chris.” Following the walk, CJ and his team will be providing free exercise and wellness information throughout the event. There will be fun and games for the young and the young heart, along with prizes and gift bags the whole family. The event ends at 2 p.m.
The Fit Family Fun Day event is sponsored by: Aetna and Judge Hatchett’s www.parentpowernow.com. Other partners include: The American Heart Association, The American Red Cross, Angels for Sight, The Lupus Foundation of America, Kids are First, The Sickle Cell Foundation of Southern California, The LA County Community and Senior Services, KJLH Radio Station 102.3, and a host of other generous sponsors.
