In remembrance of a tragic and transformative moment in our nation's history, the City of Torrance joins the rest of the nation in "A Moment of Remembrance". On this 10th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, the City of Torrance will have a brief ceremony to remember this day, the lives lost and all the sacrifices and suffering of all whose lives were affected. The City of Torrance will display a wreath and proclamation at City Hall, will fly the flags at half staff, ring bells, sound sirens and encourage participation of all residents and businesses to remember those that died courageously. September 11, will never, and should never, be just another day in the hearts and minds of all Americans.
