Torrance Public Library presents the 2012 Summer Reading Program "Own the Night!" Visit any Torrance Library and sign up! Read books, magazines, or graphic novels. For every 20 hours that you read you can earn and collect one prize per week. The Torrance Public Library Summer Reading Program is free for teens entering the 8th grade through high school and is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Torrance Library. Part of Own the Night! the Torrance Public Library Teen Summer Reading Program. This movie is free, but the room can get crowded so please arrive on time. Show begins at dusk (approximately 8 p.m.) but come early to get a good spot on the lawn, enjoy a picnic, and take advantage of the park on a warm summer night. Part of the Library's Dream Big READ! Summer Reading Program. This program is free, presented by the Community Services Department in association with local homeowners associatons.
