The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) and the Torrance Air Fair Assocation are offering historic flight experiences in its beautifully restored B-17G Flying Fortress "Aluminum Overcast" -- one of only 14 Fortress' still flying. The B-17 was the heavy bomber vital to winning World War II, and . . . this rare bird is headed for Torrance airport. Take a trip back in time and feel the might of this magnificent flying machine, just as those young men did more than 70 years ago. You can experience a flight, or simply take a walk-through tour.
