Torrance Cultural Arts Center [Torrance Cultural Arts Center] 3330 Civic Center Drive
The festival will feature over sixty booths filled with food, kimonos, and souvenirs, and that’s just scratching the surface at this annual summer celebration featuring martial arts demonstrations, professional dancers, live music, and a traditional Mikoshi parade.

The City of Torrance Community Services Department in partnership with The Home Depot will be hosting the Carpenter Wagon Program this summer. Staff will help children ages 6-14 create a variety of wood craft projects. Parents/guardians must be present in order for the child to participate. Sessions are limited to 20 children per session and are offered on a first come first served basis. Registration will be taken 10 minutes prior to the start of each session. Limited of one session per child, per day. This program is FREE. Sessions are offered on Wednesdays at the following times: 12:00-12:50 p.m. 1:00-1:50 p.m. 2:00-2:50 p.m.

Spend the evening in ancient Rome and the peek into the lives of the inhabitants of three residences; a brothel, a house with a family of three; Senex, his wife, Domina and their son, Hero, and their next door neighbor, Erronius who is in constant mourning for his son and daughter who were kidnapped a long time ago. Trouble and confusion ensue in this high anxiety farce.
