The Science Fiction and Fantasy Book Group presents a free screening of the movie Excalibur (1981). This climatic retelling of the myths of King Arthur is rated R and has a running time of 140 minutes. The Science Fiction & Fantasy Book Group will read Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley and compare the book and the film at their next meeting, September 3.
