Madrona Marsh Nature Center & Preserve, 3201 Plaza Del Amo, Torrance CA 90503
Starting June 1, 2012, 50 person limit for this program. You must register to attend. You may register on Saturdays at 12 noon for the following Saturday or you may register by calling the Nature Center at; (310)782-3989. If you plan to attend with a group each person must individually sign up. If you no show after you have signed up, you may not sign up again for 2 weeks. Join us for our restoration program every Saturday from 8:45 a.m. - 12 noon on the Preserve planting natives, weeding, propagating or maybe watering new plants. Wear closed toe shoes, bring gloves and be ready to work. Refreshments are provided. Rain cancels this program. Late comers will be sent away. If you are 15 years or younger you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Featuring: Sanderlings, Marbled Godwits, Western and Least Sandpipers. A beginner's guide to birds, bird life and behavior. Each class will include a short presentation about the featured birds followed by a walk on the Preserve to look for them. Bring binoculars and wear comfortable shoes.
