Soprano Nadja Michael is mesmerizing in the title role opposite bass-baritone Greer Grimsley (Jokanaan) and tenor Kim Bogley (Herod). Music Director Nicola Luisotti conducts “with flair and muscle.” (San Francisco Chronicle). “All the zesty blood lust of a good vampire movie…bravely and marvelously macabre!” New York Times One hour 53 minutes with one intermission.
