Saturday, March 3, 2012 | 9:00 AM - Noon
West High School, 20401 Victor St., Torrance
The City of Torrance will co-sponsor an Ocean Friendly Garden Workshop with West Basin Municipal Water District and the South Bay Environmental Services Center. Turn your garden into a sponge to absorb all the precious rain-water this region gets.

Wednesday, March 21, 2012 | 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Bartlett Center - 1318 Cravens Avenue - upstairs
In honor of the City's Centennial, OTNA is partnering with the Torrance Historical Society to present 100 years of history -- from cowboys, bombings, tea parties, to parades. Janet Payne, past President of the Torrance Historical Society and recent recipient of the prestigious Jared Sidney Torrance Award, will walk you through the decades with a pictorial presentation (compliments of the Torrance Historical Society's photo archives). You will learn how one man's vision, and connections across the nation, came to shape the once dusty grazing lands into what now is the 8th largest city in Los Angeles -- Torrance.

Sunday, March 25, 2012 | 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Wilson Park; 2200 Crenshaw Blvd., Torrance
The Torrance Youth Council is sponsoring their 25th Annual Arts and Crafts Boutique. This event is a hand crafted only show, so come out and purchase one of a kind gifts for Easter, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, graduation and weddings. Food vendors will be on site and there will be childrens crafts and photos with the Bunny for a nominal fee. Make it an event for the family.
