Some weeks there will also be potting or other activities added. Topics (insects, animals or plants) emphasize respect for all living things and prepare children to be good stewards of the planet. 20 kids maximum. Did you know your neighborhood library becomes an Area Disaster Center in case of an emergency? Library staff, the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), the Torrance Amateur Radio Association (TARA),and other disaster workers use the Library to provide information and assistance in case of a disaster. Library staff will be conducting a drill of these responsibilities, outside materials returns will be open.
