The Los Angeles Ride for Kids is motorcycle charity event benefiting the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. The ride is an escorted, 24-mile ride around the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula. We ride rain or shine and all makes, models and scooters welcome!

The Torrance Firefighters along with Chef Michael Shafer are hosting Old Torrance Festival Day There will be a live band, carnival games, vintage fire apparatus, chili cook off, bake sale, local restaurant food court. We are also presenting our "Bring a Hero to Lunch" auction, allowing a school, business, group, or special event to have a Firefighter respectfully attend and contribute where needed. All the proceeds will be donated to the South Bay Police & Fire Memorial Foundation and the Torrance Relay For Life.

Hi everybody,
Teaching House will run several FREE ENGLISH COURSES in 2012. That is to say you can practice both your written and your speaking for free! The next one it from April 16th to May 11th.
There will be two levels of languages : Pre-Intermediate and Upper-Intermediate and classes will take place from Monday to Friday evenings (6:30 to 8:30PM).
Moreover, if you attend to 100% of this classes during the week, you will receive $25 each week (you have to be Pre-Intermediate or Upper-Intermediate to attend to this class)!
You can come to the office at 6PM to register on the first day or send us an email to alban _ @ _ teachinghouse.com.

Our annual golf touranment is being held to support by the education efforts of John Adams Elementary School. Our tournament is being held at Los Verdes Golf Club on May 7th. We are thankful for our title sponsor, Pacific Audi.

Now celebrating our 20th anniversary, our “Send a Kid to Camp” Golf Tournament continues to provide financial assistance for deserving children to attend summer camp. At Y camp, youth learn that they are confident and strong while trying new things and experiencing a world larger than themselves.
Over the past 19 years, this tournament has raised over $1 million and sent nearly 3,500 kids to camp.
Make a difference in a child’s life today!
