The City of Torrance float in the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade will celebrate the Torrance Centennial through reflection of the City's 100 years. The Rose Parade has been in existence for 122 years and approximately 750,000 people watch it in person with millions more watching on television, including thousands of Torrance residents.

A celebration to usher in the Year of the Dragon, featuring buffet style catering, unique and cultural festivities, honorary guests from the Torrance Area and Chinese business communities, special performances, and a traditional Lion Dance. This is an official Torrance Centennial event.
