Please join CSUDH professor Dr. Connie Vanheim for entertaining and educational classes on various native plant topics. Every month is a different topic - never the same class twice! Topics range from 'Edible Seeds and Berries' to 'Chaparrel Communities and Pruning Techniques'. After each presentation, Connie will lead the class through the Nature Center's Native Plant Garden to illustrate key points and further discussion. Handouts are included. FREE/donations accepted. THIS MONTH'S TOPIC IS "MAGNIFICENT MANZANITAS: the Genus Arctostaphylos."
