During the month of April, join us in a City-wide Clean-up/Beautification to get Torrance ready for it's Birthday Bash! Please wear sun-screen, old clothes & tennies, and bring along gloves (and maybe even a few gardening tools - weed picker, clippers, etc.). Time TBA

This "HOW" on-site workshop offers "Hands On" training. There is no prerequisite for this workshop. You will learn how to develop a pleasing and water-conserving "Ocean Friendly Garden". There is also a workshop on June 2, 2012, that teaches the "Basics", which is an instructional class. Refreshments will be provided. Please arrive by 8:30 a.m. Space is limited, so register early.

Join us for our restoration program every Saturday from 8:45 a.m. - 12 noon on the Preserve planting natives, weeding, propagating or maybe watering new plants. Wear closed toe shoes, bring gloves and be ready to work. Refreshments are provided. Rain cancels this program. Late comers will be sent away. If you are 15 years or younger you must be accompnied by a parent or guardian.
