Starting June 1, 2012, 50 person limit for this program. You must register to attend. You may register on Saturdays at 12 noon for the following Saturday's Habitat Restoration Program or you may register by contacting the Madrona Marsh Nature Center at 310-782-3989. If you plan to attend with a group each person must individually sign up. If you no show after you have signed up, you may not sign up again for 2 weeks. Join us for our restoration program every Saturday from 8:45 a.m. - 12 noon on the Preserve planting natives, weeding, propagating or maybe watering new plants. Wear closed toe shoes, bring gloves and be ready to work. Refreshments are provided. Rain cancels this program. Late comers will be sent away. If you are 15 years or younger you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

An old cliché’ that time has passed: “A Kodak Moment” would be apropos here. This is the WMoF event you want to bring your cameras and your kids. A photo op of history.
You’ll see planes that have prepared thousands of winged war-fighters through multiple conflicts. Visit with the aircraft and their pilots.
As a special bonus (Noon) noted aviation photojournalist Frank Mormillo will make a fascinating presentation on Military Trainers.
Capture history while you still can.
Refreshments and souvenirs available.
As always, WMOF Members are free; non-members are $5, which also includes access to WMOF museum exhibits. Free parking. Show begins at dusk (approximately 8 p.m.) but come early to get a good spot on the lawn, enjoy a picnic, and take advantage of the park on a warm summer night. Part of the Library's Dream Big READ! Summer Reading Program. This program is free, presented by the Community Services Department in association with local homeowners associatons.
