Take a stroll with Dave Moody and Ron Melin as you identify the different species of birds at the Madrona Marsh as well as other parks throughout the City of Torrance. This walk is welcome to all ages and is free. Re-occurs on the 1st, 3rd & 5th Tuesday of every month.

1st Saturday of every month from 10-12 p.m.-repeated the following Tuesday 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Dr. Connie Vadheim(CSU Dominguez Hills Professor) will discuss local native plants as part of this gardening series. Featured will be plants native to the lowland areas of western L.A. County. Class will include a walk in the Madrona Marsh Native Garden, where students can see some of the featured plants. Topic changes every month. Donations accepted. Call the Nature Center or visit our Website. No classes Sept/Oct.
