The City of Torrance float in the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade will celebrate the Torrance Centennial through reflection of the City's 100 years. The Rose Parade has been in existence for 122 years and approximately 750,000 people watch it in person with millions more watching on television, including thousands of Torrance residents.

Remelmeyer, Torrance's former City Attorney who was instrumental in the development of cable television in the City.
