Liza Palmer is an Emmy-nominated writer and the internationally best selling author of Conversations with the Fat Girl which became an international bestseller its first week of publication, as well as hitting Number 1 on the Fiction Heatseekers List in the UK the week before the book debuted. Conversations with the Fat Girl has been optioned for a series by the producers of Rome, Band of Brothers and Generation Kill. Palmer's other novels include Seeing Me Naked, A Field Guide to Burying Your Parents, More Like Her and Nowhere but Home. Liza Palmer will speak about the 9 best pieces of advice she's ever received as an author. Copies of Ms. Palmer's books will be available for purchase and signing.

Nominated for the 2013 Academy Award in the Best Documentary Feature category, The Invisible War is a shocking investigation into one of the American military's most shameful and best kept secrets: the widespread epidemic of rape. Director Kirby Dick focuses on the powerfully emotional testimony of the rape survivors, who risk their careers in pursuit of justice.
